New Horizons in Responsible Gambling conference

Many thanks to the New Horizons conference team at BCLC for inviting the Centre to curate a session at the virtual conference this year. In the absence of a conventional poster session, we have moved to a data-blitz / lightning talk format featuring 6 short presentations by Gabriel Brooks, Osa Hawthorne, Fiza Arshad, Mario Ferrari, Ke Zhang, Xiaolei Deng. These talks describe the various ways in which our research has pivoted over the last year in response to the cessation of in-person testing on campus: ‘Beyond the laboratory – gambling research during a global pandemic’.

Also at New Horizons this year, Eve Limbrick-Oldfield is a panel discussant in the session on ‘Cashless Casinos’.
